postpone has stopped

If you read on the facebook group, you may know that i have delayed the movie due to the fact that I had custom sound effects on my camcorder, but however the charger went missing and up until recently i have postponed the movie. I am proud to say that I have found the chord to charge my camcorder, and the movie is going full steam ahead.

Oh, and someone has now been cast to do the monologue. A good friend of mine from school has kindly offered to lend their voice and face to the movie.

Hiring live action actor/actress

I need someone to do a small live action part for the movie. If anyone is willing to do this part of the movie, just e-mail me at mollyrulz9999@hotmail.com, or if it's easier for you, you can reply and tell me here.

  • Either male or female is fine.
  • Any age between 20 and 50
  • A camcorder or a camera with a movie function that is good quality is required.
  • You MIGHT be required to learn a monologue for the footage to work. The monologue is 17 lines long (in a size 18 with Western font on WordPad). If you can read lines without making your eyes look like they're reading off a script (having them move left to right repeatedly) then you don't need to learn it.

I hope there's someone out there that can whip it up before the end of March so I can finish the movie (which I'm expecting to release it during April or May).

more sound effects for the movie

I have thought long and hard about this, and have come to the conclusion that a lot of the sound effects in movies made with 'the Movies' follow the same pattern for a whole scene. I find this very boring, and have decided to recreate every sound effect for the movie. With 'Audacity' installed on my computer I will be making these effects more individualized as well as aiding the atmosphere for the dream sequences. I really want to make this movie my own, and with the aid of individual sound effects (and possibly visual effects, which I'm considering, but not an essential at this stage in time) I will be attempting to make this movie, truly, my own.

Debut trailer released

I have now released a trailer on MotionBox and The Movies Underground. This is the first trailer I am releasing. I am considering releasing more when the rest of the voiceovers come in or when I finish editing and cutting the movie to an appropriate length. Here is the trailer:

If you cannot view the trailer on this website, Here is a link to the trailer:

If you like or dislike the trailer, please leave a comment and mention what you thought of it. I still do not have a finished export, so some knowledge of what you think of it will help me edit the film better.

3 new people lining up for voice work

I think there are one too many people wanting to do the movie. Casting has officially stopped until I announce that a voice actor cannot do it (I surely hope I don't have to type that one up). I have set a deadline for the sample lines of all 2, 3 characters to come in by the end of January, and all the voice overs in about 5 days later. I'm pushing them, but I'm going back to school on the 11th, so I'd like to get it done by then and have nothing invading the progress of the movie.

Dreaming Inferno - the Audio Journal

I am announcing....a collection of files?

The soundtrack, trailers, music in the trailers and even voice overs will be available to you as two zip files on release date. 'Disc' 1 will contain music, trailers and other things like that. 'Disc' 2 will contain all the voice overs for you to listen back to if, for example, maybe you didn't quite catch a line or maybe the music was too loud. It's there for whatever you wish to use it for.

By the way, there's still 3 open characters left. So far 3 roles have been confirmed (one of them is going to be doing the voiceovers soon) and the other two i've already announced. There's 2 spare roles for males, and one role that will suit both genders (who only has one line in the movie, so consider it an extra)

New character unveil

now that I have the next stack of lines put in, I'm revealing the next character.

Voiced by Doc Z, the Doctor, contains little relavance to the story, however, in his previous days before taking up a job as the doctor, he was well known for his sarcasm, which got him into big trouble. Knowing lots about medical procedures from having to perform them through his childhood life in the country, he never gets emotionally involved with his patients, with the exception of the occasional comment on someone or something.
